Lake Missoula had been through
low sleek canoes haunting
north shore could see across
to the archive of water
ways and interests traveling
this across direction above all else
their baskets with triangles useful
red cedar thimble berry camas
now a place of new buildings
lots of art thrown in for effect
rumblings every so often shrieks
across the open sky remembering
