Well it did look shrunken
or tiny or miniature
from what I could glimpse
through the coconut trees
clouds taking their time
surf far off moving further
although beaming brighter
headlights through thatch
curtains waiting all night
for my German alarm
but it wasn't a shrunken apple
either or even a mottled pebble
from all that listening I did
hyacinth sky heavily true
