I listened to spirit so much and so intent
was my ear in its sideways level
almost to the floor I could hear the hum
of something electric maybe my heart
but not the regular electricity
something more something else
what could it be forced or else
in a daze that was my thinking
all along and then you showed up
how long do I stay and wait
for your love or I leave with all
the others when we are supposed to
